Yosemite National Park
Mammoth is the perfect basecamp for visitors planning a day trip to Yosemite, as the eastern entrance to the park is an easy 30-minute drive from the town of Mammoth Lakes, with an additional 1.5-hour drive into Yosemite Valley. Driving over Tioga Road (HWY 120) you'll see many photo-worthy sites along the way, including Tuolumne Meadows, Tenaya Lake and Olmstead Point during the beautiful forested drive.
Reservations are required to drive into Yosemite through September 30, 2021. Some services and facilities are limited, and shuttles are not operating.
